As we near the holidays and the end of the year, we think it’s important to reflect on the year we’ve had. We’ve had fun times, hard times, and times giving back. Here are some of our highlights.
COMTO Columbus - 9th Annual Golf Fore Education Scholarship Outing
In June we were thrilled to sponsor the 9th annual COMTO (Conference of Minority Transportation Officials) Columbus - Golf Fore Education Scholarship Outing at the Medallion Golf Club in Westerville, Ohio. Our firm aims to be active participants in the projects that shape our infrastructure and our communities so sponsoring this tournament was a perfect fit for us. We had a lot of fun golfing, just don’t ask us if we made par.
Cleveland BrewBoat
In July our team set sail on Lake Erie for team bonding on the lovely BrewBoat, followed by lunch in Cleveland’s Little Italy. It was a beautiful summer day with great weather and phenomenal coworkers.
COMTO’s 10h Anniversary Gala
In November we celebrated COMTO Columbus’ 10th anniversary in style!
Community Service at the Mid-Ohio Food Collective
Just before Thanksgiving, some of our Columbus team went to work on giving back to the community. Nine of us worked a shift at the Mid-Ohio Food Collective and helped vet, clean and sort various donations. It felt good to give back to the community and the time flew by! Unfortunately we were too busy to get many photos while we worked.
Engineer’s Club Christmas Party
In Early December some of our team attended the Columbus Engineer’s Club Annual Christmas Party. ‘Twas a charming night filled with scrumptious food, dancing and of course the annual prize drawing. One of our employees even won a Kitchen-Aid mixer!
Holiday Party & White Elephant Gift Exchange
The white elephant gift exchange has quickly become one of our favorite holiday traditions at Moody Engineering. After a delicious lunch, we all gathered around, shared something that we were grateful for, and then got to gift swapping. The most stolen gifts this year were a mini-fire pit, a self-care set, and a hand-held game console with games from the 80’s.
Our 10th Year Anniversary
December 24th, 2024 is our 10th anniversary in business!! It’s been a wild ride but we’re so happy to be here!
