Description
Moody Engineering provided civil engineering services for the renovation and expansion of the 1989 multi-purpose Myrl H. Shoemaker / Fifth-Third Arena. The new state-of-the-art NCAA Division I basketball and volleyball performance venue is also capable of hosting commencement, job fairs and concerts. Its design maximizes the use of space within the area while providing expansive views of the court to enhance the experience. The civil engineering services for this project focused on underground utilities, with improvements made to the storm, sanitary and water lines.
