Description
Moody Engineering was contracting by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) & the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) for the storm water system replacement project at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility (SOCF). The SOCF is an adult maximum-security prison constructed in 1968 and is made up of 37 buildings. The civil engineering work includes designing the storm water and sanitary sewer lines for separation and replacement, as well as replacing the manholes and catch basins in order to eliminate inflow, infiltration and cross connections. The new sanitary line in the IDR will eliminate the cross connection and the grease trap. Finally, the drainage system around the B-Building will be replaced and the civil team is developing a complete Program of Requirements for SOCF.
