Description
The City of Columbus initiated the Olentangy Scioto Interceptor Sewer/ Big Walnut Augmentation Relief Interceptor/ Big Walnut Outfall Augmentation Sewer (OSIS/BWARI/BWOAS) Large Diameter Sewer Assessment to assess the structural integrity and debris accumulation of the sewers listed above, as well as others in the City of Columbus and nearby municipalities. Moody Engineering was a part of the manhole inspection team that entered and evaluated manholes in project area and their connecting pipes. Information about 180+ manholes was collected and entered into the Pipetech app. The sewers observed were made of a variety of materials and ranged from 10- to 204-inches. Once fieldwork was finished Moody Engineering also performed QA/QC for the inspections.
