Description
Moody Engineering worked as the Civil Engineer on a team developing standards for NiSource’s MOD and Operation Center facilities to be developed throughout their service area. The civil engineering on the job involved creating a generic layout plan to identify the required elements and spatial relationships at each site that is to be developed. The features required at each site such as parking layout and space counts, dumpster locations, material storage areas, and ideal detention location were placed on a plan to be distributed as the NiSource standard and adapted to new development sites. The developed plan called out the standard items and safety requirements NiSource needed to implement throughout its service area.
